參觀梅夫人婦女會文化遺產 History and English Cross-curricular Outing: Helena May Heritage Tour

Fifteen S5 students, who are either taking History as an Elective or studying in the S5 English Elite class have been enlisted to visit one of the Declared Monuments of Hong Kong – The Helena May, on 20th May 2019. The group enjoyed themselves in a rare private tour of the historical site in which native English-speaking volunteers explained the history and heritage values of the 103-year-old Grade II historic building. As part of the programme, the group was taught Western tea etiquettes and put the manners and English phrases learnt in practice while enjoying their delightful and delicious English afternoon tea. 中五級歷史組一及英文組一的同學，參觀了梅夫人婦女會歷史建築，期間由英語導師沿途導賞，學生們更有機會享用英式下午茶以學習西方餐桌禮儀，獲益良多。
